Saw or seen

You should read the list of the words of present, past and present perfect form, so you will understand where to use the words “saw” or “seen”. The word “Saw” is a past form of the word “see” and the word “Seen” is the present perfect of “See”. You will use these words “saw” or “seen” based on the tense. When you use the word “Saw”, then you are talking about the past. Suppose, I saw a snake there but when you use the word “seen”, then you will use it according to the tense. You can use the word “Seen” properly with present perfect and past perfect. Example of the “seen” according to present perfect tense “I have seen him” and according to past perfect tense “I had seen him”.
